How many sessions will I need:
Sessions are generally held weekly and the number of sessions will vary for each and every individual. Typically, you should budget for about 6 sessions to start with, if I feel that more are needed, I will discuss this with you. Many clients often choose to continue in counselling for much longer for reasons such as personal development and growth. However, I have an open-ended contract with my clients and they can end the counselling sessions by giving me one session notice.
If due to mobility issues, illness or other reasons that would prevent you from being unable to access counselling services I can arrange to visit you in your own home, details of this service can be discussed further with myself.
I have a 24 hr cancellation policy, if less than this you will be required to pay for your cancelled session. If I have to cancel our sessions at short notice I will give you your next session free of charge.
As a qualified counsellor I am experienced in working with clients on a wide range of issues including:
- - stress and anxiety
- - depression and other mental health issues
- - relationship and family issues
- - loss, grief and bereavement
